Alexa Joel is an American singer and musician born in America. She is the daughter of Billy Joel (a musician) and Christie Brinkley (a model). Joel is a New York native who has followed in her parents' passion of fashion and music. At 19 old, she formed a music group, and performed her first live performance at Maxwell's located in Hoboken New Jersey. She quickly garnered immense popularity in the next few years to become one of the hottest superstars of our time. Joel dropped Sketches her first extended piece in the year 2006.
