Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister, and also a UFC competitor. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with the unanimous verdict. However, she then was unable to win her next bout due to the split decision. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. The result earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights, defeating Ariane Lipski before falling to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee.
