She is most famous for her role as Missandei from the HBO Fantasy drama Game of Thrones (2011). Nathalie is an English actress born in Southend-on-Sea (Essex), England. Her father has Saint Lucian English descent and her mother Dominican. Nathalie credits her mother for her initial inspiration to be an actor. When she was 10 she appeared as Young Nala as part of her first West End production of The Lion King. Her TV debut came in the year 2006 with Sasha Valentine, a teen actress on Hollyoaks (1996). Emmanuel was an actress on Hollyoaks from 1995 until the year 2010. Her character had stories concerning heroin addiction and prostitution. Nathalie played the role of host on BBC Three's Web-sex : What's The Risk to You?, which examined online sexual behavior of UK 16-24-year-olds. The fall of following year, she made her first appearance in the saga Twenty8. Then she was cast in the fantasy drama Game of Thrones (2011, HBO) as Missandei Targaryen, Daenerys' translator. Emmanuel's role on Game of Thrones was promoted to a regular in 2015. In 2015, she was a part-time actress in the roles of computer hacker Ramsey and Harriet as well in Furious 7: The Scorch Trials (2015 action movie) and Maze Runner - The Scorch Trials (2015 sci-fi action film). FHM magazine has ranked Emmanuel at 99th in the 100 Sexiest Women of 2013. In Style and GQ published her in April 2015 issues.
