Keira Knightley
The actress was born in London to actor Will Knightley and Sharman Macdonald, Knightley obtained an agent aged six. Initially, she was involved in television commercials as well as films. In 1999, she was Sabe in Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. After becoming famous as a character in the fantasy show Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 when she played Elizabeth Swann (a swashbuckling footballer) and was able to get her first role in the sports movie Bend It Like Beckham in which she portrayed the teen. She was a part of the love comedy Love Actually (2003) and was labelled a promising teen actress. Knightley was awarded an Academy Award nod for Best Actress in 2005 for portraying Elizabeth Bennet, the heroine in the classic romance Pride & Prejudice. In addition to Atonement as a character, she acted in the role of Georgiana Cavendish who was the popular tastemaker for The Duchess and Anna Karenina's character in the title socialite. In the contemporary dramas she played an ambitious music student in Begin Again (2012) and an aspiring medical doctor as a doctor in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley returned to historic movies in The Imitation Game in 2014, where she was nominated to win an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress.
